Review of Cintiq 12WX

Posted on : 18 April 2008 by Vincent

Recently I have just acquired Wacom's new Cintiq 12WX to replace my long dead (but not mentioned) Wacom Intuos2 tablet.

I am in the midst of getting myself used to it and discovering the joys of trying to prevent my curious daughter from scratching the screen or smashing her fists onto it in mock fury.

I have written a short review of the Cintiq 12WX and will updated it, with more comments and pictures, as time goes by.

Prezzies for everyone

Things are progressing slowly for some reason.

However, I managed to take some time off with my family and relatives to go bird watching, walking nature trails, smelling the flowers and other nature related activities.

Gosh, I used to do a lot of this kind of stuff before I got married. Now, I am enjoying the same things with my wife and my daughter. It is really nice to know that they love such fun stuff too.

Out of the whole lot of photographs I took, I would to present a humble offering of a wallpaper for all of my readers here.

If you guys like more wallpapers of this sort, do drop me a line. :D

e l x y updates

Posted on : 04 March 2008 by Vincent

Head over to the e l x y website to take a preview (like uh, one real image to look at, actually) of the book.

From the looks of things (like child rearing, household chores and my own work), the book might be delayed slightly. Nevertheless it will materialise this year.

Given my track record on updates, you might laugh at me. However, I made the promise to my wife and child - thus the book will be out by this year.

I hope to get some time to at least add in some doodles and scribbles that might be used in e l x y.

Incidentally, the little girl on the top of this portal page (next to Kaori's K'MA character) happens to be a super-cleaned up drawing of Ethel. Do not expect to see the same kind of drawing style in the book, it will be more "natural". LOL.

Keep the faith, my darlings!

Launch of NNK's new look!

Posted on : 17 February 2008 by Vincent

Following the happy heart wrenching announcement of Kaori leaving natsunokoi.com, Vincent (aka Akitsuki) has assumed full control over natsunokoi.com.

natsunokoi.com's change of direction will see the cessation of Kaori's Natsu's Love (incidentally she has not released her script to me either, but I will accept the fact that it is her work).

Time to move on and turn this place into my little creative workspace.

K'MA will be back on track until I'm done telling the horrifying part of my life with Kaori. It shouldn't take too long, since Kaori has been with me for about two years or so. I'll just pick out the choicest bits and make them naughtier more fun.

The existence of e l x y was first sighted in the forums here. This particular work is not exactly a comic strip, but rather a book. The content in the mini website here will show readers a small sample of what will be available to them when the book comes out for sale somewhere this year (hopefully mid of 2008).

If you like me and my spastic-like drawings enough, please do purchase a copy of the book. Highly recommended to those who wish to know more about me on a personal level, and who wish to wallow in my supposed aura of greater good.

Actually just buy the book, it helps in paying the hosting expenses of this web site (and saving for my daughter's future university fees *cough cough*).
